H2O and UNICAL reunited once again at the OCEANS 2023 conference in Limerick, Ireland.

OCEANS is a biennial gathering that brings together global marine technologists, engineers, students, government officials, lawyers, and advocates. This event provides an opportunity for professionals in the maritime industry to learn, innovate, and lead in the protection and utilization of our oceans. Thought leaders and innovators from around the world in marine technology, engineering, science, research, and education will convene at OCEANS 2023 in Limerick to explore cutting-edge technologies in the field of marine science.

At the conference, H2O Robotics showcased its cost-effective and innovative solutions for the maritime environment at its booth. Vladimir Djapic (CEO of H2O), along with Santina Fortuna and Umberto Severino (UNICAL), presented their work and contributions in the areas of underwater communication, localization, and data acquisition. The secondees from UNICAL also had the opportunity to participate in various conferences focusing on state-of-the-art solutions and techniques in maritime technologies. Throughout the event, professionals ranging from academia to industry visited the booth to learn about the company and the projects they are involved in.

It’s worth noting that the OCEANS conference serves as the flagship event for the Marine Technology Society (MTS) and the IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society (OES).
