On February 28, 2025, at the headquarters of the Instituto Nacional de Antropología y Pensamiento Latinoamericano in Buenos Aires, a conference was held by Dr. Salvatore Medaglia (Department of Cultures, Education, and Society – University of Calabria) titled “Métodos y técnicas de documentación de estructuras arqueológicas subacuáticas.” During the conference, organized as part of the Tectonic Project, a range of topics related to the investigation methodologies of submerged archaeological sites with Roman-era concrete architectural structures were discussed. Several case studies were presented, with specific focus on the topics of monitoring interventions and conservation efforts.
