Researchers from CONICET, the Ministry of Culture (Argentina), and UNICAL (Italy) presented some of the results from the TECTONIC project at the XII Congress on Archaeology of Patagonia (XII Jornadas de Arqueología de Patagonia). The event was held from October 21st to 25th in Río Gallegos, Santa Cruz province, Argentina.
Their poster, titled: “First results of TECTONIC project in Emma shipwreck (Puerto Madryn, Argentina)”, highlighted outcomes from the initial fieldwork conducted at one of the project’s pilot sites, the wreck of the schooner Emma in Golfo Nuevo, Puerto Madryn.
This congress provided a platform for researchers from the Southern Cone region to learn about the project. As part of the presentation, a QR code was made available to attendees, granting access to the photogrammetric model of the Emmawreck site.
